WELCOME AT MY HOMEPAGE !!!! 

After many years of volleyball and thanks to internet, I can tell you my career and bring you into the volleyballworld. I'd like to give you a little introduction so that you will know me a little bit better.

I was born in Winschoten(the Netherlands) at 11 october 1965. When i was 6 years old, I started with gymnastics. I also did this in competition. Either if it looks strange to you, I have been small too. Until I wasn't anymore, I was almost 16 years old, and I decided to change sport. Volleyball, because a friend of mine already was playing and I wanted to play a teamsport. I played only on recreationlevel, when my first (real) trainer of my hometown, discovered me and asked me to play a championship with him.From that moment I entered in the volleyballworld and I 'm still here. After the way I followed,you can read that further in my website, I am still happy that I choosed volleyball. I've been also very fortunate, because in the last few years, volleyball has become one of the most important sports, not only in Italy but in the whole world.

I'd like to tell you also some personal secrets, f.e. the things I like, the things I do when I am not playing volleyball, etc. The little bit of freetime I have, I like to cook and to go to the cinema. In the kitchen I like to try everything. My favorite plate is the mexican and from time to time I ask my friends for a mexican dinner. This brings me to my prefered place in the world. Mexico! Not only because of the kitchen, but also because of the people, the atmosphere, the sea and the culture. To the cinema I go as much as I can.Sometimes I go 2 or 3 times a week, that depends on the film they show. I am the owner of a bmw 325 tds, which I use for all the trips I make from Modena( where I really live with my husband) to Ravenna ,where I am playing now and where I live during the week. In the summer I often take the car of my husband, Lorenzo, chrysler stratus cabrio, just to go for a ride at the sea in Pinarella di Cervia, our place of relax in the summer
